Receiving Your Vehicle
A step-by-step guide on what to expect and what documents you need when your vehicle arrives at the destination port.
Arrival Notification
You or your appointed customs broker will receive an Arrival Notice from the shipping line or local shipping agent typically 3-5 days before the vessel arrives.
Customs Clearance & Duties
Before the vehicle can leave the port, it must clear local customs. You must pay all applicable import duties, taxes, and port handling fees. We highly recommend hiring a local licensed customs broker to handle this process.
Vehicle Release & Pickup
Once customs clearance is complete and all port fees are settled, the shipping line will issue a Delivery Order. You can then access the port to pick up your vehicle or arrange for a tow truck if it is non-drivable.

Bill of Lading (B/L)
The original or telex release.
Commercial Invoice
Provided by us at the time of purchase.
Export Certificate / Title
Original deregistration certificate.
Identification
Your Passport or National ID.
Import Permit
If required by your local government.
Arrival Notice
Issued by the shipping agent.
